NATO deployable surveillance and control team back in garrison

In the afternoon of 26 September, the arrival of a military convoy of personnel and equipment symbolised the official completion of the DACCC deployment exercise Ramstein Dust II-19 to Campia Turzii, Romania.

“It’s good to have you all back safely in garrison,” said Major General Claudio Gabellini, Commander of the Deployable Air Command and Control Centre or DACCC welcoming the last portion of his deployed 90-strong team of air command and control specialists.

A deployment out-of-garrison offers training opportunities that simply to not exist in barracks at home
“A deployment out-of-garrison offers training opportunities that simply to not exist in barracks at home,” General Gabellini said thanking all his team members for their contribution that once again proved the DACCC’s deployable capabilities in support of Allied and national air operations.
