F-15E Strike Eagles forge towards Romania and Bulgaria in multinational exercise

RAMSTEIN, Germany - U.S. F-15E Strike Eagle aircraft from the 336th Fighter Squadron taking part in Ex Castle Forge have arrived at Borcea Air Base, Romania, and Graf Ignatievo AB, Bulgaria in the next phase of  the multinational training event.

The Strike Eagles will train alongside counterparts from the Romanian and Bulgarian air forces for the next few days. This movement enhances the integration between NATO allies in the Black Sea region, while highlighting the strong trans-Atlantic links that the Alliance enjoys.

The opportunity to work shoulder-to-shoulder with our Bulgarian and Romanian allies will demonstrate our unshakeable partnerships and ability to provide unparalleled airpower in this key region

"The opportunity to work shoulder-to-shoulder with our Bulgarian and Romanian allies will demonstrate our unshakeable partnerships and ability to provide unparalleled airpower in this key region." Said General Jeff Harrigian, Commander Allied Air Command.
