Companies were asked to submit proposals for applications that the NATO Space Centre, based at Allied Air Command, can use for situational awareness. The qualifiers will pitch their solutions to a panel on 17 June 2021 during NITEC Connect, the Agency's virtual industry conference.

“It is outstanding to have so many proposals from space industry companies to support the ongoing development of our Alliance’s space situational awareness,” said Major General Karsten Stoye, Chief of Staff, Allied Air Command. “I am looking forward to hearing from the successful qualifiers during the NATO Space Pitch Day in June.”
The top qualifiers are:
· Analytical Graphics Inc., and Ansys
· ExoAnalytic Solutions Inc.
· GlobVision Inc.
· Maxar Intelligence Inc.
· Safran Data Systems
· VizworX Inc.
NCI Agency Chief of Staff Major General Göksel Sevindik said: “Congratulations to the top qualifiers for getting to this stage of the NATO Space Pitch Day. The number and quality of the submissions reflects the increasing role commercial industry can play in the Alliance’s space capabilities.”
A team of panelists from the NATO Space Centre, the NATO Headquarters Situation Centre (NATO HQ SITCEN) and the NCI Agency assessed all 45 entries for innovation, impact, and feasibility.
