“It has been my pleasure to host the first ever AIRCOM Industry Day, here in Ramstein Germany” said Air Marshal Jonny Stringer, Deputy Commander Allied Air Command. “This event brings together expertise from many disciplines as we look at next-generation technologies to modernize information sharing, and integrate cutting-edge technologies into NATO’s air command and control systems” he added.    

Over the two days industry leaders demonstrated breakthrough technologies in Artificial Intelligence and automation, which enhance accuracy in mission planning and decision-making speed. Also showcasing big-data solutions and advanced analytics, enabling efficient data processing and real-time intelligence to support operations.  

The event also provided the opportunity to introduce developments in cybersecurity and resilience, essential in protect NATO’s digital infrastructure against emerging cyber threats. In addition, command and control enhancements, which improve interoperability between NATO forces and allied nations in multi-domain operations.

AI-driven analytics, big data integration, and enhanced automation provide decision-makers with faster, more accurate assessments, ultimately improving response times in high-stakes scenarios.   

By fostering collaboration with industry leaders and emerging technology providers, NATO demonstrate a diverse approach to problem-solving, leveraging commercial sector expertise for military applications, ensuring it remains at the forefront of air and space power.   

The 2025 Industry Day was a key initiative to bridge the gap between military requirements and civilian technological advancements, aligning innovation with strategic defence objectives.
