Procedures

Applications for internship should be submitted using the application form shown to airn.cpo@airn.nato.int. Applicants should indicate whether they are interested in working in Ramstein or Uedem (both in Germany) or in Poggio Renatico (Italy) or Torrejon (Spain). A copy of the candidate’s CV must be attached to the application form. In addition, all interns have to submit a one-page essay giving details of their motivation for an internship at AIRCOM and on their expectations during the internship.
 
Applications will be screened to verify that applicants meet the required criteria and that an appropriate training environment can be established. Once a candidate has been selected, the start date of the internship period will be determined taking into account divisional needs, the availability of the selected candidate, and the security requirements.
 
Applications shall be retained for a maximum period of 6 months if not successful then destroyed.
